The Event Manager works cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. They will partner closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Growth Marketing, Designers, as well as external vendors. This role drives the projects and acts as the manager of communication, documentation, milestones, budget, and metrics.
Responsibilities
Manage the planning, execution and reporting of events and community building programs (branded, partner, industry, customer and internal)
Align all programs with the integrated marketing plans, brand campaign and collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure consistency
Enable adoption and activation of programs cross-functionally and globally within the company
Partner with the Growth and Sales teams to project, monitor and report performance metrics and lead results
Communicate the status of programs to the leadership teams and other audiences
Help to identify key brand programs and events
Based on program results, optimize plans, create best practices and strategies for future program success
Experience
Researching, evaluating, and recommending event programs
Planning and executing B2B event marketing and community programs (ie: tradeshows, webinars, customer advisory board meetings, conference sessions)
Projecting, monitoring, and reporting event program metrics
Building relationships within a cross-functional global teams
Collaborating remotely with colleagues at all levels (managers, department leads, individual contributors, executives)
Prior employment at a SAS company or an interest in software development is a plus
