RockIt Events, a boutique events agency in Scotts Valley, California, is hiring a Digital Events expert to join the team! We're looking for a tech-savvy events person who has experience with the RainFocus platform and is ready to jump in to help build a few event platforms for a high-tech client. The client needs support for their upcoming Sales Kickoff and User Conference events in February and March 2022. Part-time, remote work is approved for this role.
General Tasks:
Build virtual event platform for clients Sales Kickoff Event and User Conference event on the RainFocus platform
Develop a concept for a RainFocus virtual event platform in partnership with the client and lead the build for it on RainFocus
Partner with client's brand team to ensure the platform is branded to their specifications
Manage platform testing and implement feedback provided by the client, event lead, or others
Support team members will be available to help with the build and testing as needed
Build virtual event microsite and mobile app in RainFocus
Provide feedback on the virtual event registration experiences in RainFocus
Manage adding and testing content to the CMS pre, during and post-event
Including adding titles, abstracts, videos, surveys, etc
Work with the RockIt Events content manager to ensure PPTs are scrubbed and uploaded to the platform
Manage uploading videos and the process of switching live stream videos to on-demand video files
Drive and manage audience engagement
Create surveys and notifications with event lead
Work with Pigeonhole to create interactive Q&A, chat, and polls to be implemented on RainFocus
Brainstorm and implement more ways to engage attendees and keep them on the platform (gamification, virtual contests, etc)
Manage platform during the live event war room and make updates as needed during live event
Manage platform flip from live to on-demand content
Provide post-event platform, app and/or microsite reporting as needed

Requirements:
Quick learner and tech-savvy with great attention to detail
Digital event planning experience
Experience building events in the RainFocus platform
Experience working with clients and with logistical planning
Candidate must be personable and professional in communication
Experience with Teams, Google Drive, PowerPoint, Office Suite, Excel
